The Study Of Utilizing Foreign Direct Investment In Fujian

With the great promotion of the globalization of the economy and industrial structure adjustment, a new round of international industrial transfer wave accelerated international capital flows more seriously. Manufacturing accelerated pace of transfer to developing countries particularly to our country, has brought greater opportunity to expand the attracting FDI for china, a new FDI upsurge is raising in china. Using the FDI and taking part in the Global divisions and cooperation are important symbols of globalization of economy and are the inevitable trends of the regional economic development. Since the opening policy was carried out, Fujian province has made a great achievement on utilizing FDI, the amount and the quality also continuously increase. FDI promotes economic growth, expands employment, and makes a great contribution to the amplification of foreign trade, industrial structure transformation and so on. Under the new situation of entry WTO, our country,s opening has stepped into a new stage. To attract FDI, Fujian should establish the sense of concern, make great effort to improve investment environment, so can utilize FDI more effectively to promote a sustainable, rapid and healthy development of economy.Based on the existing theory, this paper makes a thorough analysis of the history of FDI in Fujian and its features, and by using econometric models to make empirical analysis and comprehensive evaluation for the use of FDI, and then combine with the current emerging trends of FDI and the problems existence in the utilization of FDI, to show how to further exhume the potential of use FDI, and play a greater role in the development of Fujian, then give some policy recommendations.The innovation of this dissertation:(1) Give a systematic analysis and evaluation about Fujian use of FDI(2) Using econometric methods to evaluate the results of use FDI in Fujian. Make a group of index to classify and evaluate the different use FDI in Fujian districts, then combine with the situation both of outside and inside, give some advice about attracting FDI in Fujian, may has some guidance for further research.
