Study On ERP Software Supplier Selection Risk

The high risk of ERP project decides the importance of enterprise to manage and control risk in the course of project implementation, the right selection of ERP software supplier who is one of key participants is the source to manage and control risk. ERP software supplier is the research object in this paper which found ERP software supplier evaluation risk evaluation model, which provide the decision-making foundation and praise the risk consciousness for enterprise.First, the paper which is on the basis of risk identification theory and risk evaluation theory and domestic and abroad study situation finds out the sameness and difference according to compare between general supplier selection and software supplier, according to the definition and characteristics of ERP software supplier selection, based on the time length viewpoint, the paper classes and defines risks which enterprise selects ERP software supplier according to three phase model: strategic phase and tactical phase and application phase, and analyze risk forming factor.Second, according to the risk definition, the paper sets up risk evaluation index system, in order to verify the index system validity, dates are collected and fixed and analyze by questionnaires, the index weight is calculated by AHP. In the end, the risk evaluation model of ERP software supplier is found.Third, the paper gives an example of XiPai Company evaluating five ERP software suppliers by risk evaluation model, the company selects one of five suppliers who has the fewest risk and realizes company informatization.
