Yantai Training Website is a newly-built local professional website. At this time of fierce competition and rapid reform, how to find a suitable way for its own survival and development according to its present resources and advantage, and create more social and economical profits has become an important problem that needs urgent resolve for Yantai Training Website.This paper first did a research about the present internet development situation and the management differences between website and traditional corporation, and analyzed the critical factor for the survival and development of website. And then, according to the practical situation, this paper processed strategic demonstration by using the classical theory and method of strategic management, such as Michael Porter's competitive strategy and the five models of competitive capacity, PEST analysis and SWOT analysis, etc., and integrating some newest website management ideas. In the end, this paper posed the concrete development tactics for Yantai Training Website from the aspects of the foundation of famous band, perfecting the service function of website, the improvement of competitive capacity, the creation of characteristic profitable model, the establishment of orderly management mechanism, the proper resource distribution establish and complete a system for the examination and evaluation of outstanding a chievements, etc..The research of this paper will highly promote the sound development and the efficient operation of Yantai Training Website. Meanwhile, since it is a new industry and there are few successful examples to use for reference, it will also set an example for other newly-built or similar websites.
