Geological information can be used in geoscience research, mine resource exploitation , project construct, geolocial circumstance protection, disaster reduction and etc. These aspects are important in the development of national economy. Especially, some problems are arising in our country in recent years, such as the strain of coal and electricity, the rising of cricis mine and the lack of important mineral resources, etc. These problems make the public need more and more geological data, and the social service of geological data becomes a focal problem. Under the background, the paper makes some primary study on customer satisfaction index of the social service of geolocail information.First of all, the paper exlained the pratcial meaning of measuring and evaluating the customer satisfaction index of geolocail archives social service, and putted forward the issue of this paper. Then the paper explained the definition of geological data and the social service of geological data, the status of the social service of geological data from the institution and personnel,the content of service, the mode of service ,the object of service and the mechanism of service. Next, the paper expatiated the definition of the customer satisfaction index, customer satisfaction theory model, the paper also introduced and compared some familiar measurement of customer satisfaction index. On the basis of customer satisfaction theory and the status of geological archives social service, the paper constructed the index system of customer satisfaction index of geological data social service, then used the Analytic Hierarchy Process to establish the weight of all the factors.In the part of demonstration, firstly the paper introduced the conditions of National Geological Archives of China, then designed the questionnaire on the basis of the index system of customer satisfaction index, and investigated the service quality of National Geological Archives of China in the form ofquestionnaire. The paper figured out the scores of the official, the public and scientific researchers on the basis of the weight of all factors. According to the scores, the paper analysed the statistical result. In the end, aiming at those weak sides, the paper gived material advice from five sides such as the consummating of the law, the strengthen of information construction, the reinforce of flack of geological archives service, the enrichment of collections and the team construction of the social service of geological archives, and introduced the next work.
