Analysis Of China-ASEANS Intra-industry Trade

With the evolution of international specialization between China and ASEAN countries and the adjustment of domestic industry structure, the industry specialization and trade structure between China and ASEAN have changed. The traditional inter-industry specialization between China and ASEAN has tapered off and intra-industry specialization began to take shape.This paper is taken trade of the intra-industry among China and ASEAN as the research object, the study approach, based on relevant theories of intra-industry, combines the qualitative and quantitative methods together with the intra-industry trade index used in it. Firstly, the overall level, the structure characteristic of trade and the trend in the intra-industry between China and ASEAN are quantitatively analyzed by taking advantage of adequate data. Secondly, qualitative analysis provides the reasons of intra-industry trade. Finally the author put forward the implications of developing intra-industry trade between China and ASEAN.
