| As China entering the WTO, the financial market has been entirely opening-up and the domestic banking is faced with severe challenges. Therefore it becomes not only a subject of great value for academic interest, but also a practical requirement for tackling with kinds of challenges to work at compatitiveness of domestic commercial banks in such new environment. This is the research background taken as in this dissertation, and abiding by the basic clue of theory, demonstration and analysis, the method of theoretical and empirical analysis is adopted.In this dissertation, relevant references and results of international and domestic previous researches are summarized to review the competitive theory of commercial banks. Characteristics of commercial banks are elaborated and the concept of commercial banks' competitive competence is defined as well. Then on the premise of evaluation principles, a relatively integral system of evaluation indicators of commercial banks' competitive competence is established. Subsequently, the method of combining evidences and attaining the BPA is worked at. After that, a model based on this theory is established by combining with the BP artificial neural network, which can distill the rules and useful information by mining plenty of past data, and even provide a good measure to evaluate qualitative indicators. Finally, ten listed commercial banks are selected as specimens being evaluated, and then empirical analysis is maken to validate the system of indicators and modeling veracity.Appraisal result shows that joint-equity commercial banks is better than state-owned commercial banks from aspects of basic, core and intergrative competitive competency, and China Merchants Bank is the best of all the ten banks. Besides, after the pilot plan to transform state-owned commercial banks into stock entities is put into practice, the intergrative competitive competency of state-owned commercial banks has been improved obviously. |
