By affiliating WTO, the enterprises of our country have increased the product export and been enjoying the benefits which are brought by the world trade liberalization. The globalization trend can never stop and the automobile industry has become the world's industry. Any automobile enterprise can avoid the competition of all the world. So the nation automobile enterprise of China will take part in the fierce competition. China automobile industry can promote the science and technology with the product efficiency rising in the world competition.The outwardly-oriented internationalization of china automobile enterprise has begin just now. There are many types of the outwardly-oriented internationalization, but all the types mean the competition of the own brand and technology. The Japan automobile industry has accumulated plenty of experience of the internationalization in the past 70 years, especially in the outwardly-oriented internationalization. Their development of overseas market is much earlier than China enterprises and the successful experience are useful for our enterprises. So it is important that we research the history and the successful management experience of the Japan automobile enterprises. It is good for innovating and developing the China enterprise management mode.This paper has researched the development of the outwardly-oriented internationalization of the Japan automobile enterprises comprehensively and systematic. The research result has great significance: firstly, the conclusion of the paper is useful for enriching and achieving the theories of the outwardly-oriented internationalization of the automobile industry, secondly, the result of the research can help the China automobile industry make right decision on the development of the outwardly-oriented internationalization.Firstly, this paper summarizes the interrelated theories of the outwardly-oriented internationalization. Secondly, the paper has researched the activities of the outwardly-oriented internationalization of the Japan automobile industry. The enterprises of the research object are Toyota Co. Ltd and Honda Co. Ltd. These two companies are the most representative automobile corporations of the outwardly-oriented internationalization. The paper has summarized the development of the outwardly-oriented internationalization and analyzed the influence factors in the development. Based on these discussion and viewpoints, the paper suggest the affiliating policy of the outwardly-oriented internationalization, the area decision policy and the market competition policy. In the end of the paper, the conclusion is presented.The first chapter is the introduction which includes the research background, contents and the methods. And the second chapter summarizes the outwardly-oriented internationalization which includes the concept and the research status quo of the outwardly-oriented internationalization. The concept is defined by LawrenceS. Welch&ReijoK. Luostatinen in 1993 and the Chinese academician Lu Tong and Li Chaoyang put award a analysis frame based on the China enterprises. The research status quo of the outwardly-oriented internationalization contains the theory research and the research of the Japan enterprises.The third chapter has discussed the development of the outwardly-oriented internationalization of the main Japan automobile enterprises which are Toyota Co. Ltd and Honda Co. Ltd. In this paper, the development of the main Japan automobile enterprises are two stages which are the outwardly-oriented internationalization based on the export and the outwardly-oriented internationalization based on the direct oversea investment. The development always begins by exporting the product to the host country. Japan automobile enterprises export lots of the auto to USA. There was a high-speed increase between 1970 and 1990. The huge amount export to USA led to the trade deficit and the government of America adopted measure to restraint Japan automobile enterprise exporting product to USA. The trade frictions are never ceaseless between both countries. Japan enterprises came across the same problem in Euro market besides in USA. In order to solve the restraint exporting policy, Japan enterprises changed the outwardly-oriented internationalization based on the export into the outwardly-oriented internationalization based on the direct oversea investment.The forth chapter is about the analysis of the influence factors of the outwardly-oriented internationalization of the Japan automobile enterprises. The factors contain the economy factor, the technology factor, politics factor and the society factor. The economy factor includes the oil crisis factor, public square agreement , exchange rate change , the competitor factor , the customer need factor , Japan bank fund support etc. The technology factor presents the Japan product management mode, such as JTT product mode, eradicating waste product mode and multiple kinds and less quantity product mode. The politics factor contains the trade friction of Japan and USA. And the society factor includes America, Europe and China society.The fifth chapter presents affiliating policy of the outwardly-oriented internationalization and discusses the entering into the market by exporting and investment directly processing. We discuss the advantages of the Japan automobile enterprises when they decide the mode of the outwardly-oriented internationalization.The sixth chapter analyzes the Japan automobile enterprises decision policy of the market area. American market is very important for Japan enterprises. And the European market has the same important significance for Japan enterprises. If the strict request of the European has achieved by Japan Enterprises, all the acceptance criterion of the world can reach. Whereas, European automobile enterprises rather than Japan enterprises adapt the rigorous market and they will expand their market to Asia and USA.The Seventh chapter discusses the competition policy of the Japan automobile enterprises, such as exporting stage, directly investment stage and mainland policy. And the last chapter summarizes the whole paper.
