When entering the WTO, our country will face the internationalization competition and so it is with hotel services. Some kinds of foreign capital hotels and joint venture hotels will enter the Chinese market, their advanced management and operation ideas will give an unprecedented impact to our domestic hotel services. As the hotel services, the main product is service which provided by the hotel staff. The product quality is directly decided by staff's making. The hotel services' competition is the talented person's competition. How to attract and use the outstanding staff and establish the effective incentive mechanism becomes the key to the impregnable position of the hotel services' competition. Our hotel services has many problems in the incentive mechanism at present. How to learn and consult the foreign country's advanced management theory and experience then form a set of scientific and effective incentive mechanism according to our characteristic is the premise of the hotel services' maintenance vigor and sustainable development.The paper chooses Press Plaza as the object of study. According to the profession characteristic and the Press Plaza's actual situation and basing on the life cycle theory, the paper improves the Press Plaza's incentive mechanism from three parts: salary, career planning and training. When researching, the paper uses the methods of theory and practice.There are three parts in the paper. The first part is about the present situation of the incentive mechanism of domestic and foreign countries and related theories; the second part is about the improvement of Press Plaza's incentive mechanism based on the actual situation and the profession characteristic; the last part is about the suggestion of the Press Plaza's incentive mechanism's improvement.In order to achieve the goal of detain talented person, Press Plaza should carry on reasonable and scientific human resources plan, consummate each kind of rules and regulations and carries on effective drive to the staff of the enterprise. By doing this, it can adapt the need of the hotel's development, guarantee the long-term balance and make Press Plaza step onto the sustainable development.
