The Study And Development Of Information Management System For Jin Ming Gas Company

Today, computer technology, network technology and database are becoming more and more mature. The economy globalization is the necessary trend. The way of information and the development of IMS (Information Management System) to raise efficiency and obtain compe-tetive advantage are the inevitable choice for enterprises.In this dissertation, firstly the information management system is surmarrized, and its developing and current situation is introduced. The source, my work undertaken and the meaning of the dissertation are explained.Secondly, the framework of the Jin Ming Gas Company and the characteristics of the business process are analyzed.Using O-O(objective-orientated techniques), the requirement and the function of the information management system of Jin Ming Company is analyzed. Furthermore the total design of the system is completed with six modules, namely purchasing module, sale management module, inventory management module, financial management module, basic data management module, system management module, and define the function of every module.Thirdly, the whole use case of the system and the use cases of purchase management, sale management, inventory management and financial management are set up. Furthermore, the use cases are analyzed. So in the process of analysis and design, the user, designer and programmer can know and exchange the system better. By using UML, the static model and dynamic model are set up, so the system can further described clearly.Then, the advantages and disadvantages between the Client/Server mode and the Browser/Server mode are compared, and the reason of choosing B/S mode, Sql server as the tool of development are explained. Taking the data of the purchasing subsystem as example, the method and course of the design of database are detailedly introduced. The technology of the visiting database, the design of the module and the design of the report are introduced in this part. In the design of module, the O-O(objective-orientated techniques) are used to collect public class and objective lib. Each module carries on the advantage of consistency and speed of the development of the software. On the design of the report, the data queried from the database are exported to the excel sheets, so the user can join to edit the data himself according to his requirement.Finally, some ideas of the system development are mentioned, and the achievement is concluded. And then the author expects the future of the information management system, and recommends that combining Rational Rose with the information management system technology, new generation information management system that is suite for enterprises are developed.
