Study On Promotion Of The Competititive Advantage Of Zhejiang Industrial Clusters

Under the circumstance of economic globalization, knowledge andscience and technology increasingly importance, industrial cluster hasbecome a bright light in our country economy development. Based on theactuality of Zhejiang industrial cluster, this dissertation carries onresearch the route of advancing its competition.First, the dissertation analyze the actuality and basic characteristicsof Zhejiang industrial cluster. Then analyze the competitive advantage ofit, and consider that cost and innovation (technological innovation) areimportant factor in deciding the action of the firm, and they are two basicform of the competitive advantage of the industrial cluster. To make theclassification of the competitive advantage more commonly, thedissertation classifies the tape of cluster learning from twodimensionalities: the cost advantage and the innovation advantage, andaccording to the different combination of the two advantages, there canbe four competitive advantages combinational mode, namely "weak costadvantage—weak innovation advantage". "strong cost advantage—weakinnovation advantage","weak cost advantage—strong innovation advantage" and "strong cost advantage—strong innovation advantage",and correspondingly, there are four spatial situations : separate cluster,cost-type cluster,innovation-type cluster and mature-type cluster.Commonly, the competitive advantage will evolve from "weak costadvantage—weak innovation advantage" to "strong cost advantagestrong innovation advantage", while, as different cluster has itscharacteristic, so there always exist different evolvement. When analyzethe Zhejiang industrial cluster, we find that Zhejiang industrial cluster is acost-type cluster. As variance of domestic and oversea market, and lowprofit because of excess competition, decline of strong cost competitivebecome un-reversible. Innovation is a multidimensional competitive, notonly has relative cost advantage, but has relative product advantage, so toadvance the competitive of Zhejiang industrial cluster, a feasible way isto innovate, through innovation advantage to upgrade the wholecompetitive advantage of the cluster. The dissertation analysis the way ofinnovation from specialization,system,self-organization. Specializationis the basis of upgrading the innovation of cluster; system is the guarantee;competition and cooperation is tremendous power. The third, analyze thefoundation,guarantee,power and support of advancing the innovationadvantage through specialization,system,self-organization and serviceinstitution, and give a innovation system of cluster through colligatingthese mechanisms The fifth chapter gives a demonstration of Shaoxing weave cluster.
