With the development of our stock market, stock certificate investment fund as the main part of our capital market, both size and number of funds developed rapidly. So people attach much importance on stock certificate investment fund size.Whether funds' size more big more well? In the situation of china, is there may occurring a moderate size for funds? These are main research aims of this paper. This paper analyses the factors influencing stock certificate investment funds' moderate act size microscopically and microcosmically. Then use the data of the fund net value size and rate of return of stock certificate investment fund of two group stylebook through demonstration to prove the remarkable relativity of fund net value size and performance in both good and bad station. In base of result, we construct the moderate size formers of open-ended fund and close-ended fund. We find the moderate size for open-ended fund in china is RMB 1.924 billions to RMB 6.897 billions, the moderate size for close-ended fund is RMB 1.611 billions. Finally put forward a little bit homologous viewpoints and suggestion to the appropriate scale development of our country stock certificate investment fund.
