FDI(foreign direct investment) influence the present industry structure of China and make great sense on its optimization.The thesis introduces the relative concept on FDI and industry structure, which is to be the basis, then makes empirical analysis on the correlation of FDI and industry structure changing in China. Chapter 3 emphasis on the analysis of influence on three-class industry structure, capital efficiency, heavy industry proportion and technology improvement by FDI and makes the conclusion. Chapter 4 analyzes the present developing phase of the economy of China, points that it is in the middle phase of industrialization. Research on the possible negative influence by the incoming FDI in the given phase, question the way to induct FDI in order to optimize the industry structure of China on the condition of openning economy and the related advice for industrial policies then comes into being. Finally, the analysis of Jiangsu province is taken to be a good example compared with the whole country, which makes the fit direction to conduct FDI for the optimization of industry structure.
