| Within China's long history, many traditional and conventional activities were created. These activities made people's lives become diversified and interesting. Since 1980's, many new forms of celebrating activities were created so as to enhance the cultural communication and business. Compared with traditional holidays'activities, these kinds of activities are different in their ways of conducting and social functions.Since late 1980s, many domestic scholars began researching on the phenomenon. This essay will focus on holiday tourism of Chengdu. It will analyze the tour resources in Chengdu and present some suggestions on Chengdu's holiday tourism industry after investigating peach blossom festival.The creative point of this essay would be that it systematically summaries the current situation and feature of Chengdu's holiday festival resources and that it comes up with the suggestion of combining the custom resources into the development of holiday industry. The essay is made upon a large number of theoretical articles and associated with the reality of the development of Chengdu's holiday industry.The shortcomings of this essay might be its practical usage.
