The Gap Of Rich And Poor Under The Background Of The Harmonious Society Construction

Now our country is trying to set up socialist harmonious society. Setting up socialist harmonious society is an important mission that put forward by the Communist Party of China under the situation of building a Well-off Society and during the process of constructing Chinese characteristic socialism. It is an inevitable request during the period of Chinese reformation and development. But in this course the gap between rich and poor is an intractable problem that we have to face. How to resolve the issue not only concerns the vital interests of the people but also is the critical problem in the course of setting-up socialist harmonious society. This paper points out the necessity of reducing the gap between rich and poor first, then the paper figures that the enlargement of the gap between rich and poor will produce harmful influence to socialist harmonious society. Meanwhile the paper thinks that reducing the gap between rich and poor is the inside request of setting up socialist harmonious society. Then the paper analyzes the present condition and formative reasons of the gap between rich and poor. Based on the frontal analysis the paper tries to discuss the countermeasures and the steps to contract the gap of rich and poor. To implement these approaches we need the scientific theories as theoretical foundation, the fast development of our economy settling the material foundation, the perfect socialism market system providing the systematic guarantees, increasing the proportion of the middle class to provide social foundation.
