Energy resources are known to be the material base of the hunan's. So in order to establish a safe energy supply system is very important .It has become a focas project for the government, for the research institute,for the enterprise even for the common people. At the same time it's also a big strategic plan which should be studied seriously during the harmony and sustainable developant of the regional economy. The study object of the essay is on the basis of the energy supply and demand in a medium-to-longterm in Hunan prorince. Fistly,it outlines the study background,the study information home and abroad on energy topic,the main coutent and the fresh idea. It also expounds the definition and category of energy,thehistory and future of energy utilization the relationship between energy utilization and the economic development. Secondly,this essay analyses the circumstances on requirement and production of energy in Hunan as well as the balance og energy supply and demand.
