The research of TFP(Total Factor Productivity) is a very importantportion of the domain of economics research. There is very importantrealistic meaning if we apply the newest theory and means of the TFP toanalyze the mode, mine and drive of economy rising. From reforming andopening, economy obtains fast development by the percent of 9, and thisarises the thinking of many inside and outside economists.Of counting theory of economy development, Solow thinks thesurplus of subtracting increaser of all factors from increaser of per GDPas. the increaser of technique advancement, namely the "Solow surplus".Jorgenson and Griliches think from analyzing theory that TFP is theunexplainable portion of all factors, and TFP will go nothing along withthe development and improvement of research means. In addition, withthe development of economy and advancement of technique, countryappears more and more work force. Because the nation encouragestransferring the surplus work force of the country to city, the populationand area of city is more and more, so real estate becomes more and moreimportant to economy development gradually. With the unbalance of themuch population and the speed of city development, the land's price of all cities is rising. So studying the contributions of acreage to citieseconomy and the influence of acreage to the calculation of TFP exponenthas great practical sense. So regarding the acreage as a new factor, this article analyzes thecontribution of capital, work force and acreage to the GDP of all citiesand the wallop to TFP exponent making use of the nonparametric meansand newest means of studying TFP exponent of cross section, and usesnonparametric means to calculate the all factors' elasticity of productfunction in condition of no restraint. By calculating the contribution, TFPexponent and the wallop, this article educes mostly conclusion, asfollows:1,The elasticity and contribution of capital and work force aredepressed year by year from 1998 to 2004, but the contribution of TFP isascending. When using three factors, the elasticity and contribution ofacreage is ascending year by year, and the same as using two factors theelasticity and contribution of capital and work force is depressed, but thecontribution of TFP is ascending. Compared from landscape orientation, the same as using two factors capital is more and more important to thedevelopment of middle cities, and the improvement of technique drivesthe development of big cities. The same as two factors, the increasing ofTFP is fluctuating among the small and middle cities.2,The wallop of Capital, work force and acreage to TFP exponent isnegative firstly, then positive, and the degree is depressed year by year. The wallop of capital is bigger than the wallop of word force and acreage, but along with the movement of time, this difference is shortening, andthe wallop of all factors is going consistent in 2004. Compared using twofactors to using three factors, when using two factors the relative wallopis bigger than when using three factors in 1998, but it is opposition in 2001, and in 2004, in the two ends of TFP exponent, when using threefactors the relative wallop is bigger, but in the middle of the TFPexponent it is opposition.
