In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Our country's reform was first carried through inthe rural area. Rural productivity has been greatly liberated, the rural economydeveloped rapidly. As the reform was deepened into the urban area, the developmentmomentum of urban economy has exceeded the rural areas while the rural economy wasplunged into the plight. The income increase of rural areas was slow; and the income gapbetween urban and rural residents continued to expand. Increasing farmers' income anddeveloping the rural economy has become one of the most important topics.The first chapter analyzes the known views of domestic scholars about how toincrease the farmers' income, which are the reform of land ownership, the reform ofland-using system, accelerating the urbanization, and so on. This paper thinks that thesemeasures are sure to play a positive role in increasing the farmers' income, but increasingfarmers' income mainly depends on the farmers themselves and puts forward to establishthe rural cooperative organization to increase farmers'income.The second chapter introduces the relevant theories in domestic and foreigncountries, analyzes the rural cooperative organizations from the perspectives of staticeconomics, the theory of game, and institutional economics, and gets the conclusion thatthe cooperative organization can change the farmers' status in the market trade andnegotiation, realizes the scale management, and reduce the transaction cost so as toincrease the farmers' income.The third chapter states the development course of our country's rural cooperativeorganization, summarizes the functions of rural cooperative organization in increasingthe farmers' income and developing rural economy, and points out the deficiency of ourcountry's rural cooperative organizations.The fourth chapter mainly presents the American, German, Japanese, and Koreaexperience in developing the rural cooperative economy. Different countries havedifferent rural cooperative economy mode which are based on the different nationalconditions, and surely have played a important role in developing the rural economy.Then, the paper bring forwards what experienceThe last part of the paper comes up with the ideas that our country should promote the development of integrated cooperative economy organization and then develop therural economy and increase the farmers' income through legislation, government support,vigorously developing rural cooperative financeOn the writing method, this paper pays attention to use the economic theory toexplain the feasibility of rural cooperative economy, and demonstrates the feasibility ofbuilding rural cooperative economic organizations to increase the farmers' incomethrough the method of the economic static analysis, the theory of game, and institutionaleconomics. In addition, this paper has an embedded analysis to the experience of foreigndeveloped countries in developing rural cooperative economic organizations and putsforward what we can use for reference. At last, we come up with some countermeasuresto develop our county's rural cooperative economic organizations.
