Empirical Research On The Influence Of FDI On Service Industry Of Hebei Province

In the end of last century, one remarkable trend is the speedup of economic globalization, especially, the service industry been an important area for global economic competition. Being a developing country, China has been developing very rapidly in spite of its late start, and, service economic has been an important part of its economic development. It had been testified that FDI could obviously accelerate the healthy development of service industry.This paper makes research on the Hebei province. It collects and sorts the data about FDI utilization of service industry. This paper uses the theories on international investment and industry economics existed overseas and domestic as reference. It uses the method of SSA and OLS to analyze the affect of FDI on service industry of Hebei province. After summarizing the characteristic and trend of the FDI utilization by service industry, it analyzes the capacity of competence on FDI utilization between Hebei province and national average level using SSA, and the effect of FDI on the service industry in Hebei by the means of OLS. Based on all the data analysis and empirical test above, this paper at last put forward the strategy and measures on a better utilizing FDI by the service industry of Hebei province.
