Research On Long-run Effective Mechanism For Cost-Control In Oilfield Enterprises

With China entering into the WTO and further reformation of Chinese petroleum industry, pressure over cost-control in oilfields is becoming tighter and tighter, leading to short-term behaviors consequently. Thus, introducing Strategic Cost Management (SCM) Theory and Cost Drive Theory into the enterprises, establishing long-run effective mechanism for cost-control and implementing cost management innovation have become an effective approach to realizing the long-term effectiveness of cost in oilfield enterprises.Research on Long-run Effective Mechanism for Cost-Control in Oilfield Enterprises expounds the necessity of applying long-term effective for cost-control into oilfields enterprises by analyzing behaviors, influence and reasons of cost-control in oilfield enterprises. Accordingly, on the basis of discussing Cost-control Theory and SCM Theory, and depicting the successful experience of cost-control in foreign major oil companies, chapter three illuminates the basic mentality of establishment of long-run effective mechanism for cost-control in domestic oilfield enterprises. According to theories above, chapter four gives the skeleton of establishment of long-run effective mechanism for cost-control in oilfield enterprises. Considering the present situation of management in domestic oilfield, chapter five puts forward relative safeguard-measures of implementing long-run effective mechanism in domestic oilfield enterprises.In brief, based on the analysis of SCM Theory and Cost Drive Theory, and the unification of qualitative and quantitative analysis, the paper offers the way of establishing long-run effective mechanism for cost-control, and accordingly, proposes the corresponding implemental strategies, providing a set of new mentalities and methods for domestic oilfield enterprises to containment short-term behaviors, as well as to realize its strategic development.
