Research On Logistics Cost Management Of Telecommunication Wire & Cable Manufacturing Enterprise

In manufacturing enterprises,logistics is not only the foundation of all activities,but also the precondition that products realize its commodity value and practical value. Because our country's manufacturing enterprises emphasize production and ignore circulation for so long, the logistics costs are too high, and also it has become the fatal disadvantage of our country's manufacturing enterprises when compete with multinational companies. Therefore, if enterprise wants to survive and develop in the austere competition environment, it must do well in logistics cost management.This thesis firstly reviews some basic concepts of logistics and logistics cost, and some relative studies in the field of logistics cost management, to form the theoretic foundation for the following research. Secondly, the thesis analyses composition of logistics cost according to operation flow of common enterprises and wire and cable manufacturing enterprises'specialties, and points out characters of logistics cost, and definitude the research content of logistics cost control in wire and cable manufacturing enterprises, and brings forward that enterprises should carry out logistics cost management based on the systematic concept, and then,the logistics cost is classified according to classification,function,and applying field. Thirdly,some thoughts of logistics cost control have been put forward from the height of value-chain cost management, and also the strategies of logistics cost control have been brought forward according to purchasing,warehousing and interior transportation respectively, when combine the actual operation flow of telecommunication wire and cable manufacturing enterprises. Finally, the thesis analyses the real case of logistics cost management in Fuguang company's wire and cable department applying above study, points out the problems existed in logistics cost management of Fuguang company's wire and cable department and brings forward some useful strategies to reduce its logistics cost. I hope it will be useful for our country's telecommunication wire and cable manufacturing enterprises in logistics cost management.
