The Chinese enterprises have swarmed into the cross-border M&A as worldwide economic trend. The Chinese cross-border M&A develops quickly and gradually become main current in the world. So it is realistic significance that we make deep research about cross-border M&A of the Chinese enterprises.This thesis firstly explains the theory of cross-border M&A and the synergy, which make it explanation precisely. Then it briefly reviews sorts of cross-border M&A, the history of cross-border M&A and some characteristic. According of it, the thesis makes some research including some motive, risks of cross-border M&A and so on. Secondly, in this thesis take TCL' cross-border M&A as example. On the trend of economic in the world, the author briefly introduces the background of TCL Corporation, series of cross-border M&A and remarks the cross-border M&A in detail. Then the author deeply analyzed motive, potential risks and so on. Particularly, it mainly analyzes how the synergy of the cross-border M&A has been gradually come true after TCL Corporation had been completed the cross-border M&A.At the present, although the cross-border M&A made TCL into great financial loss, the economic effect is gradually bringing out and it is beginning to won the profit. It is important that it brings the scale economic effect by the cross-border M&A, the worldwide brand fame, technology, and sales network in the world. I think TCL has held the essences and made great progress in integration and obtained some success.At last, taking into account above factors, the author provides some solution to the problems to the synergy effect about TCL' cross-border M&A. On the trend of the cross-border M&A, the enterprises should participate positively the cross-border M&A because it is the only way to achieve success of the enterprises in a long development. So the author gives some advice to the Chinese enterprises as same as TCL in order to support for the Chinese enterprises taking part in the cross-border M&A.
