Research On The Industrial Technological Catching-up Mechanism In Developing Countries Under Modularization

Modularization has already become a mainstream developing mode of manufacturing industries, modularization not only changed the traditional industrial manufacture mode, but also changed the develop and evolution mode of industrial technology. Industrial modularization has offered a advantaged opportunity for China entering into global industry chain, and China has become "Big Manufacturing Country", the lower level of technical level and technical capability constrain the further develop of Chinese manufacturing. To realize the technology catching-up under modularized, is the main problem of convert China from "Big Manufacturing Country" to "Great Manufacturing Country".Firstly, this paper based on the principal of modularization, analysis the technical and organizational hierarchy of modularized industry. And points out that systemic technology and core module technology are the fundamental parts of modularized industry. Addressing that system integrated enterprises is the main body of technology catching-up of modularized industry in developing countries. And then, through comparison between different industries, this paper discussed the growth mechanism and stage of technical capability of system integrated enterprises. And further discussed the growth contents, growth mode, growth drivers and the staggered growth of technical capability in system integrated enterprises. At last, through comparison of technology evolution mode between developing countries and developed countries, this paper puts forward a technology catching-up model of developing countries, and but applied in Chinese Audio industry—Hualu ? Panasonic, advanced some suggestions of Chinese technology catching-up in modularized industry.This paper through analysis the characters of industrial modularization, the growth mechanism of technical capability, find that system integrated enterprise is the main part of technology catching-up of modularized industry in developing countries, needs to catching-up in technological level and technical capability. Although the modularized industry has the characters of "jumping model", and made the technological level catching-up of developing countries has the trait of discontinuous, but the technical capability catching-up can transform form lower technical flat to higher technical flat in the form of technology learning capability and technology innovation capability. Concentrating on system integrate technology and core module technology, rely on R&D system carrier, the system integration enterprises will realize the continuous growth of technical capability. Under the higher level of technological flat, shorten the industrial introducing stage, prolonged the independent developing stage, promoting the technological level and technical capability. Through several rounds of the update of technological flat, the developing countries' modularized industry will conduct technology catching-up.
