At first the professional service software project just promises to solve a problem for customer. If the project ended, customer could get the whole software. The project makes great efforts to define the requirements of customer to design the software customer satisfied. But the business environment is always changing rapidly, even disorderly. It is difficult to the project to make sure the requirement of customer, and there are a lot of risks in these projects. Therefore, in the process of project management, the professional service software enterprise must have their own risk management practices for risk management to ensure the completion of the project in the budget and within the deadline in order to realize their strategic objectives.This theory is based on project risk management universal law. And then analyze and compare several software risk management models broadly applied at present. Finally establish a risk management system applied to the professional service software project integrated the characteristics of the professional service software project. There are four characteristics .The first is fuzzy changes of customer requirements. The second is rapid technology updating. The third is that manpower is the most important asset for enterprise. The fourth is the development of the tight schedule to the project.This paper is divided into nine chapters. The first chapter summarizes the professional service software project, and shows the emergence and development of the professional service software project. With the help of years of practical work experience, we get several characteristics of the professional service software project.The second chapter is overview of related literature, it first introduce the basic theory of project risk management, and then introduce and analyze several software project risk management models broadly applied at present, final adoption of comprehensive project risk management and risk management software model of choice, with professional services software project characteristics, This paper described the analytical framework .The third chapter is the project risk management planning. Project risk management planning provides approach, methods, work standards and requirements for the project risk management. The fourth chapter is the project risk identification. Project risk identification is to identify the various risks might affect the project. The fifth chapter is the project risk assessment. Project risk assessment uses qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze the risks identified, and the get the risk probability, risk levels and other indicators. The sixth chapter is the project risk response planning. Project risk response planning gets the risk response plan on the basis of identification and assessment of the risks. The seventh chapter is the project risk response plan implement and monitoring. It has three targets. The first is to judgment if the risk has identified occurred. Second is to assess risks again to ensure that the response plans for risks are being utilized. Third is to collect information for risk analysis for the future. The five chapters are the five areas of the project risk management.The eighth chapter is the application of case studies. It describes the background and emerging issues of the case project, and then analyzes and contrasts the risk management of the case project and discusses the effectiveness of the professional service software project risk management system building in the paper.The ninth chapter is summary of the paper. It gives a summary of the views and expounds the limitations of this paper.
