The Research Of Deng Xiaoping's View On Capitalism

This paper discusses Deng Xiaoping's views on capitalism. The so-called Deng Xiaoping's views on capitalism refer to the overall views and the basic viewpoints of Deng Xiaoping on capitalism, and popularly speaking, they are the ideas on how Deng Xiaoping understood and treated capitalism.How Deng Xiaoping understood and treated capitalism is a research topic which has great value in theory, and also is of significance in practice. From the theoretical value, Marxist classical writers have made the discussion and elaboration on capitalism in varying degrees. Guided by Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism, this paper attempts to analyze and study Deng Xiaoping's views on capitalism systematically from the comparison of socialism and capitalism by the combination of theory and practice, and by the integration of logic with history. Besides the two parts of introduction and conclusion, the full text makes a discussion mainly from the following aspects.In the first part, the author makes the specific analysis to the formation conditions and development process of Deng Xiaoping's views on capitalism. The formation of Deng Xiaoping's views on capitalism results from the combination of a variety of conditions and the interplay of a variety of factors. To sum up, they are "peace and development" theme of the times, the international background of drastic changes in Eastern Europe and the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the domestic conditions of the reform and opening-up and modernization construction, the deep Marxism theory foundation of basic skills, the lifelong practice of Marxism in China, and so on. In the great practice of reform, opening up and modernization construction, Deng Xiaoping had given the answers successfully to a series of basic questions on how to understand capitalism, how to deal with capitalism, and how to handle the relationship between socialism and capitalism, forming a relatively systemic and integrated viewpoints on capitalism.In the third part, the author elaborates the historical status and practical significance of Deng Xiaoping's views on capitalism. The momentous significance of Deng Xiaoping's views on capitalism to the reality is guiding people to a further understanding of the historical process of capitalism, and promoting to continue advancing the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
