The Evaluation System Of Forest Creation Resources Based On GIS

To meet people's increasing need of leisure, the exploration mode of traveling products is turning gradually from pure sight-seeing to the combination of creation and sight-seeing. As the main creation space of city dwellers, forest is chosen as the main object of this thesis. With ArcGIS, the thesis evaluates the forest creation resources, and plans creation activities on the basis of evaluation so as to better make use of resources and protect environment.The paper sets out from concepts differentiating, analyzing three kinds of activities, i.e. traveling, sight-seeing and creation, clarifying the definition, criterion and characters of creation, together with relative concepts of forest creation resources, finally establishes the theoretic foundation of creation resources evaluation system.The forest creation resources in a degree can be explained as a space or site, and its evaluation in fact is to evaluate whether the creation activities is comfortable or not. Since the evaluative scope is wide and the elements concerned are many, the evaluative method should adopt ArcGIS with human's judgment as its supplement. In this thesis, the mountainous area in south of Jinan is chosen as an example to construct the forest creation resources evaluation system. Several elements such as nature, humanities are adopted to be evaluative indexes; Meantime, three kinds of activities, camping, climbing and picking are chosen to score every evaluative index according to the different environment required by the three activities above; ArcGIS is used to analyze and compute every element, thus the every activity's comfortable degree is obtained; All evaluative results of every activity is added and finally the creation activity's comfortable degree of the land planning can be obtained, which may provide more scientific guidance for planning the creation area, traveling line and arrangement.
