Application Of Insurance In The Risk Management Of Tianwan Nuclear Power Company During Construction

This thesis mainly introduced application of insurance in Chinese nuclear power plant during construction as one of the risk management methods, meanwhile it take Tianwan nuclear power plant as an example. This thesis also analyzed main problems of the insurance in nuclear power plant. It's trying to find out the solution through combination of experience in developed country and insurance market situation in China.This article is trying to analysis international and domestic insurance market and the main problem of insurance in Tianwan NPP under the instruction of nuclear power insurance theory, and then trying to find a solution of those problems. The author is an insurance broker. From the broker's point of view, Tianwan nuclear power plant will be an example to demonstrate the development of nuclear insurance and the problems existing in it. Taking that in developed country as reference and combine it with the market environment of China, more ideal risk management plan and insurance plan are made. Due to the specialty of nuclear insurance, there is much difference between insurance in construction and in operation. And insurance broker can hardly take an important role in operation, so only risk management and insurance in construction of nuclear power is studied hereunder.
