Based on the Chinese corporations'environment, the present study examined the content of work ethic of the employee as well as the consequence of work ethic content. For these purposes, some standard research methods, such as literature review, interature and surey were used in the research. In addtion, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factory analysis, factorial invariance, cross-validation, mean structure models and structure equation full models were also applied for data analysis. More than 1300 employees in 30 different kinds of Chinese companies which were from 8 cities in China were sureyed. The main conclusions are as following:First, the concent of work ethic consisted of five factors for Chinese employees, which inclued occupational integrity, job significance, deligency, enterprising and interpersonal harmony.Second, work ethic is a multiscale structural model of stabilization cross- multisample.Third, discussion about the relationship between work ethic and its consequences by structural equation modeling, such as job performance, job involvement and normative commitment. It was discovered that occupational integrity was positively correlated with the employee job involvement and normative commitment, job significance was positively correlated with their job performance, job involvement and normative commitment, deligency was positively correlated with their job involvement and normative commitment, interpersonal harmony was negatively correlated with their job involvement but positively correlated with their normative commitment,.Fourth, discussion about the demographical variables' effects on work ethic. The demographical variables included sex, age, education level, and job position. It was found that demographical variables except sex had some significant effects on work ethic.Current limitations and future research orientation were also discussed at the end of the dissertation.
