Study On The Risk Management Of Credit Card Of Construction Bank Of China In Hunan Branch

Credit card business is an important means of strenthening customer relationship management, because of its excellent ability to realize its profit, and unique dominance in acqiring information of customers, competing for high grade customer groups. With the increasing of national income and expanding of credit card business of foreign banks, credit card business becomes very important to development of domestic commercial banks. At the same time, risk of credit card business becomes more and more evident. To commercial banks, credit card business not only owns profits, but also brings prodigious risk, which may lead to liquidity risk, even crisis of the whole business. Risk of credit card business and risk management become focuses of all aspects. Therefor, based on former researches and the author's practical management experiences in Credit Card Centre, Construction Bank of China, Hunan Branch, this paper reconsiders how to properly construct system of general risk management of credit card business of domestic commercial banks, to provide constructive thoughts to risk management of credit card business.Firstly, based on former viewpoints, this paper describes present situation of risk managemet of credit card business of Construction Bank of China, Hunan Branch, and summarizes its characteristics, to form basis to the following analysis.Then, the author points out some existing problems in the aspects of risk management, system of organization, institutional construction, internal control mechanism, environment of conducting business and competence of employees and their corresponding reasons.Finanlly, this paper puts forward some elementary coutermeasures, related to characteristics of risk management of credit card business of Construction Bank of China, Hunan Branch.
