Energy source is basic material to social development. It is the main power source and important material source, as well as one of the essential input elements of economic development. On one hand, the consumption of energy source can boost economic development. On another hand, economic development will increase energy consumption in turn. Based on the production function, we get out the long-term equilibriums between energy consumption and economic growth after the econometric analysis on factors such as GDP, energy consumption, capital stock and human capital from 1978 to 2006. Therefore, there is a mitigating endogenesis between energy consumption and economic growth through the analysis on fluctuation of the former factors.
