This paper used the ECM model, index decomposition method and Panel data model to analyze the influence reasons and demand forecast for power consumption in China's industry. Firstly, paper select single factor model to analysis the total electricity consumption and GDP of industry, and forecast future electricity demand of industry. All this give us a brief view on the relationship between industry energy and economy. Then it decomposed the electricity intensity between the sectors of industry by using Divisia index decomposition method, which give us a further point on the EI of industry. Finally, on the frame the cointegration theory, it study on the traits of electricity consumption in sub-sector industry, and work out the general characters of industry energy consumption, which will give a guide line to the forecast of electricity demand and energy-saving policy making in the future.
