Study On The Development Of Ethinic Minorities' Economy Of Shawan County Based On Its Geographic Edvantages

It is the basic target of Chinese ethnic theories and policies to realize the national common prosperity. During the periods of constructing the harmonious society and propagating the West developing, it is of strategic importance for national stability and economic development to speed up the ethnic economic developing and to increase the self-developing ability.Shawan County lies in Middle Zone of Northern Slop of Tianshan Mountain,which is an important base on the way of Xinjiang's Crossover of the West and the East.It has the obvious geographic advantages,and it is one of the representative ethnical counties and cities of Xinjiang.Rensent years,Shawan County develops economy with local features,backing on the its geographic advantages and explores a way of developing county economy in the ethnic area of western China.It promotes the progress of all the ethnics of China and it is inspirational and referring for Xinjiang and the whole ethnic area of western China.It is really meaningful for the ethnical areas that we should analyse on the way,the mode and the problems present of the developing of economy with local features of Shawan County,and explore the general rule and experiences.Then it will be useful for the Shawan County and other counties and cities like Shawan to delelop its ethnical towns,increase the herdsman's incomes and realize the economical reforming,and at last realize the harmonious developing and construct the socialist well-off society.In the paper,the auther pointedly analyse the concrete manifestations of geographic advantages of Shawan County, the problems and its causes of the developing of Shawan's ethnical towns and villages with the theories and methods of ethnology and economics,especially geo-economics.In the auther's opinions,the concrete manifestations of geographic advantages of Shawan County performs as the location advantages,the resource advantages, the backwardness advantages ,the policy advantages,technologic and talented personal resources and so on.However, there are also some problems in the developing of the ethnical villages and towns of Shawan County:unreasonable economic structure;the leading role of the leading enterprises is still to strengthen; the course of the urbanization is slow;its industry economy is still too backward;the developing of the tourism industry needs to be improved;the socal enterprise develops slow than the economy developing.Then the auther think that:to develop the ethnical economy of Shwan County,based on its geographic advantages,we should help the national minority populace to set up correct ideas;adjust the economic strucrure;promote the industrial management; realize the new pattern of industilization;develop ethnical-charactered tourism and promote the course of urbannization.
