The Research Based On The Effect Of Regional Technology Innovation Diffusion

The technology innovation is the source of modern economic growth. The technology innovation diffusion is an inexhaustible driving force to prosper countries and regions. With the development of science, technology and the research of technology innovation diffusion, how every region takes optimal allocation for its regional technology innovation system according to its own development strategy and local conditions has become the key point to promote the regional economic growth. This dissertation aims to use the effect of technology innovation diffusion to evaluate the situation of industrial technology innovation diffusion and proposes corresponding countermeasures according to the crux in order to improve the effect of regional technology innovation diffusion.This dissertation reviews the corresponding theories of regional technology innovation diffusion in the beginning. The regional innovation theory is mainly represented by Perroux's Theory of Growth. It is based on the theory of regional economic development gradient transference model; the technology innovation theory classifies the development history and all kinds of schools and their key figures of technology innovation diffusion theory; the diffusion evaluation theory concludes quantitative measure, econometrics and social evaluation which are used frequently at present. Based on the theories, the factors which influence the regional technology innovation diffusion are analyzed in the diffusion system. These factors include the technological innovation capability and the economic development level in the internal environment of the system as well the policies, markets, intermediary and social supports in the external environment of the system. This dissertation also analyzes the model of phases and process of technology innovation diffusion.In addition, the author studies the connotation of the effect of regional technology innovation diffusion. According to the study of above theories and inquiries of exports, the author uses the analytic hierarchy process to identify the potential ability of regional technology innovation, the diffusibility of regional technology innovation and the performance of technology innovation diffusion as three rules. An evaluation index system of the effect of regional technology innovation diffusion consisted of 21 evaluation indexes is also established.In order to do a detailed empirical analysis of the effect of regional technology innovation diffusion, the author collects all kinds of statistical data of large and medium industry enterprises in Sichuan, Shanxi, Chongqing, western China and the whole country from 2002 to 2005. The author makes the comparative analysis of the potential ability of technology innovation, the innovation diffusibility and the diffusion performance. The change trend of Sichuan from 2002 to 2005 is evaluated individually. The author also analyzes the problems in technology innovation diffusion of large or medium enterprises in Sichuan and proposes countermeasures of the effect of technology innovation diffusion.
