Study On The Management Of Value Chain About Iron & Steel Company

According to the domestic and overseas market is becoming more competitive day by day, it is necessary to seek new methods to deal with the situation for domestic Steel & Iron Enterprises (SIE). therefore, the thesis applies the theory of Value Chain into SIE, and studies on its management, so as to help domestic SIE clear up their managerial routes, operate their business process more effective, improve their capability to make more profit and improve their competence.Firstly, combined the characteristics of SIE with the principles of building corporation value chain, the thesis constructs the value chain of SIE. Secondly, it adopts the methods of value chain analysis to analyze every activity on corporation's value chain, also their importance and relationships. Thirdly, according to the running problems of domestic SIE and advanced value chain management model at abroad, it puts forward a series of management measures. Finally, combines Balanced Scoring Card with the theory of Value Chain Management, it builds up an index system to evaluate its managerial performance, so as to help enterprise to realize the value of every activity and the managerial level of every value spot.
