From A Large Trading Country To A Powerful One

Our new goal of developing our international trade is to change our country from a large trading nation to a powerful one. Since the reform and opening policy our international trade has gained remarkable achievement in quantity. Meanwhile our trading structure has optimized and trading gains have increased. But low level of technologies, lack of self-owned brands, heavy environment pollution and so on are becoming obstacles to the further development of our international trade. In the new period, there is positive significance of analyzing the transformation from competitiveness angle.Firstly, starting with the scholars'studies, the article defines powerful trading country from competitiveness angle and presents its characteristics. Then the article analyses the present situation of environment and trade. Secondly, on the bases of theoretical analysis, the article establishes an evaluation factor system and model under which the article makes an empirical analysis and finds out the distances. Lastly, the article brings out new thinking of transforming our country into the powerful trading one in three different levels.
