There have been two serious phenomena, namely economy crisis and energy crunch in the forest districts in the early 1990s of last century. Those crises were marked by disequilibrium economic structure, low level living standard, impeded economic development and sharply reduction of resource. A protective program was put into operation according to these cases. Building a new socialist forest districts was formulated together with this program. Meanwhile, efforts were made to pacing up economic restructuring, and stimulate the potential of other industries. Husbandry should be taken as the top priority of our forest districts, so as to increase incomes and speed up the economy.This paper is focused on the husbandry of GenHe City of Inner Mongolia. First, it gives an overview of the state of husbandry, makes a summary of the existing problems and tries to find the causes of the problems. Second, the author concentrates on the excellent conditions for husbandry on forest districts. At last, this paper introduces nine applicable studies on operation of economy, industrialized development, and organization level and market competitiveness.
