Research On The Management Of Credit Risk About Credit Card

Since 1980s, the economy of our country and the consumption of the residents in our country have been greatly improved, which are creating a favorable premise for the credit card in commercial bank. Credit card brings the abundant customer resources. In addition, it is more beneficial than others. For these reasons, it has been the core product of most of the retail businesses. For quite a long time, the credit risk of the credit card is mainly appraised and managed by the commercial bank by way of subjective judgment of the specialists, which lacks objectivity and scientificity. So, it is very necessary for commercial banks to institute the risk measure and management system based on the credit rating to meet the need of the operating and risk management of the credit card.Based on the analysis of all the risks of the credit card, this paper believes that the credit risk is the most important risk that commercial bank is facing, moreover the cause of it is analyzed. BP neural network model is selected as the theoretical foundation after comparing the advantage and disadvantage of credit rating model inside and outside the country. Combined with the problem of the credit card risk management in our country and the reality that it is hard to obtain the personal information, this paper sets the credit rating index system and establishes the risk evaluation model for personal credit based on the BP neural network. With the registered personal credit data from some commercial banks as the input, then the prediction and stability of the model is tested. Finally, this paper represents some improvement suggestions for credit card risk management in our country.This paper wishes that the BP neural network model for the risk management would provide a practical tool for the credit card business in our country.
