Making use of data of 2001-2005 from Chinese listed companies, this paper tests relative performance evaluation (RPE) of executives. The result presents that RPE evidence exists in our capital market. The part of executives'salaries exceeding the industry level has co-correlation relationship with the part of accounting return exceeding the industry level .But the part of executives'salaries exceeding the industry level has not co-correlation relationship with the part of rate of revenue growth exceeding the industry level, so as rate of stock bonus. In addition, scales of company, ownership and area where the company locates play important parts in executives'exceeded salaries.
