A Study On The Agricultural Industrialization In Tianshui City

With rapid economic growth in China, such "three rural" issues as agriculture, rural areas and farmers, have become more prominent, and have become the key factors affecting the success or failure of reforming, opening up and modernization of China. Under such circumstances, changing agricultural growth mode and taking the road of industrial development have become a necessary and realistic choice. The industrialization of agriculture, combining agricultural production, processing with marketing, not only overcomes the difficulties between small-scale production and big market, but also extends industrial chain of the traditional agriculture, increases added value. It has become an effective means to increase farmers' income, to improve agricultural competitive force, to promote rural economic development.and build a new socialist countryside. By analyzing present conditions of Tianshui City, the strengths, weaknesses and some factors on impacting the development of agricultural industrialization in Tianshui city, on the grou(?)s of Regional Economics, Industrial Economics, and Developmental Economics, this paper probes the key factors and their relationships that affect the development of agricultural industrialization in Tianshui city, the paper also advocates plans, strategies and mode of agricultural industrialization, i.e. the development of high technological demonstration park and circulating agricultral mode. This paper further explores the corresponding strategies, with the hope of bringing breakthrough to the study of agricultral industrialization in Tianshui City.
