Study Of Obstacles On Farmer Household's Adoption Of Agricultural Science And Technology

Nowadays, the transformation rate of the science and technology achievements was low in rural areas, and this blocks the modernization of countryside and agriculture. So only after we have a good command of knowledge about the present situation and the obstacles about farmer household's adoption of agricultural science and technology, could we properly promote the transformation of the agricultural scientific and technological achievements, as well as accelerate the modernization of agriculture.This article adopting questionnaires as well as interviewing, chooses both Xiangfan and Zhijiang cities in Hubei province as the investigation spots, and gives a study of facts about the obstacles on farmer household's adoption of agricultural science and technology. The survey shows that farmers, interest is not adjusting with their action in agricultural science and technology, awareness is relatively high, but insufficient in attention.PartⅤ, analysis the main situation of farmers' adopting agricultural science and technology. The results show that farmers pay more attention to the practical "objects" technology, but a little to the new "technical" technology which need for highly skilled to grasp while adopting the new agricultural science and technology.PartⅥ, analysis the main obstacles of farmers' adopting agricultural science and technology. The individual education, farmer household's income structure and its agricultural production characteristics, have significant impact on adopting agricultural science and technology of farmers household.PartⅦ, on the basis of study of facts, putting forward the general conclusion and proceeding with sociological analysis by using theories.
