An Empirical Study On The Relationship Among Energy, Environment And Economy In Jiangsu Province

With the deeper awareness of energy, environmental and economic, many scholars began to take them as an interrelated and mutually contradictory ternary system to the international community to study. It clearly put forward the goals of energy saving and pollution reduction, unit GDP energy consumption reduced by 20 percent. Such an action demonstrates that China takes more attention on the research of the the sustainable development between 3E system. It is an urgency issue that how to achieve an overall balance,make the environment can be protected while maintaining high economic growth speed and reasonable energy consumption.Jiangsu Province is a typical energy input province. Energy consumption,economic growth and environmental protection are closely related, is an important factor of the constrain to achieve a sustainable development in our province. Therefore, it is important to understand the status of the energy,economy and environment,and make an analysis of the relationship between them.The study will formulate development strategies and policies,have a theoretical guidance and practical significance in some sense. Based on this notion, the paper focuses on:The Chapter 1 is the introduction of this paper.It explains the purpose of the study,states the advance of this study in the world,raises the innovation and inadequate of the paper.The Chapter 2 is the theoretical support of the paper,discusses the relationship and the confict in the 3E system.The Chapter 3 summarizes the development state of Jiangsu Province on energy, environment and economy. It makes an analysis and a comparision of the coordination of the 3E system in Jiangsu Province from the horizontal perspective.The Chapter 4 is mainly an empirical analysis of the energy-environment-economy in Jiangsu Province based on the econometric model.First, established a vector autoregressive model,analysized the relationship between the economic growth, energy environment, trade and FDI in the Yangtze River Delta region,compared the differences in the three provinces; Secondly, make an empirical analysis of the 3E system through the multi-linear regression model; Finally, established the cointegration models and error correction model based on the industrial level, took a deeper analysis of the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth of the three industries in Jiangsu Province.The Chapter 5 gives the proposals to the sustainable development of energy- environment-economy in Jiangsu Province under the former theory and empirical analysis.The Chapter 6 concluding a concise summary of the paper,explains the deeper problems arising from this dissertation,which should be studied continuously,and points out the directions of the research based on the dissertation.
