Research On Pension System Of Chile

Pension system is not only an important social system,but also a significant pillar of sustainable development in social security,which has increasingly become one of the hot topics of concern in the government,the public and academia. However,since 1980s,because of the external factors such as the aging population and the slowing pace of economic growth,the traditional pension system named pay-as-you-go faced crisis.Countries in the world have reformed their pension systems,funded pension system was introduced,in order to seek the new outlet in endowment insurance system in 1981,the Chile began to reform the endowment insurance. Chile government changes the traditional accounting on a cash basis into a personal account seccesfully,and transfer the endowment insured fund to the private organization to operate concretely running which open up a new model in endowment insurance,and has made considerable achievements.Therefore,the study of pension system in Chile has the great significance to the reform and development of China's pension system.The article consists of four chapters,which introduces pension system of Chile systemically and analyses its enlightenment.The first part is an introduction which mainly introduces the study's background,object,content,structure,intention and method.The second part,mainly analyze to the crisis of Chile's old system,announce the reason of the reform.The third part,introduce the principle,goal of the reform,the content of the new system,the action of transition period and operation result of the new system; The fourth part,this paper describe the situatiom of endowment insurance in china,and the ones that reformed to China in Chile basic old-age pension system benefited enlightenment,Put forward the development and improvement of China's endowment insurance system to the specific ideas and approaches.
