Research On The Effect Of Our Country's Outward Foreign Direct Investment On Industrial Structure Adjustment

Along with economic globalization step being accelerate and scope being unceasingly expansion, the industrial structure adjustment of a country has not been only depended upon one's own strength yet, and some exterior factors is also important. As an open big country, our industrial structure is being stepped into a new adjustment period and developing stage. We can't only confine to utilizing domestic factors and passively waiting for other countries'investment in our country to promote domestic adjustment of industrial structure. We also should go to world and develop outwards foreign direct investment to promote domestic industrial structure adjustment.But about foreign direct investment researches of our country were mostly focusing on effect of inward foreign direct investment on domestic industrial structure, and relatively very few studies were about effect of outward foreign direct investment on domestic industrial structure. Some one had already studied about OFDI, but most of them just did qualitative investigation, and very few of them researched quantitatively.This paper first summarized the relevant theories and demonstration about foreign direct investment and industrial structure adjustment. Later, explained current developmental situation of them. Based on the effect mechanism of OFDI on industrial structure adjustment, this paper uses econometrics and gray correlation theoretical to analyze the effect of OFDI of our country on industrial structure adjustment. Then, compared the effect of OFDI with FDI of our country on domestic industrial structure adjustment .Finally, according to analysis result and combining our country conditions and experience of other countries, put forward some countermeasures for our country developing OFDI to optimization industrial structure.
