The Influence Of Entrepreneur's Social Capital On The Performance Of Strategic Decision

Decision making is a very important part of organizational management. Managers must make many kinds of decisions in the management process, including strategic decision and common decision. The performance of these decisions is closely linked with the organization performance, especially the strategic decision. The strategic decision is important to the far development of enterprises. As a key decision-maker, the entrepreneur has important influence to the performance. As one of core resources of enterprises, the entrepreneur's social capital also influences the performance of strategic decision. As a result, it is positive significance to improve the performance of strategic decision that we can learn the mechanism of entrepreneur's social capital effects on the performance.This paper constructs the concept model of the entrepreneur's social capital impacting on the strategic decision's performance and raise the hypothesis based on the academic summarize of correlated literature; then measure the variable and design the questionnaire to collect data; at last, this paper uses some methods such as factor analysis, multiple linear regression and variance analysis to verify hypothesis in the model by the statistical software of SPSS.From the conclusions, the stock of entrepreneur's social capital has a positive impact on strategic decision quality, and the inner part of entrepreneur's social capital has a positive impact on strategic decision commitment. Furthermore, industry environment has impact on the relationship between different kinds of entrepreneur's social capital and strategic decision quality. It is suggested that the entrepreneurs should cultivate and develop social capital to improve the performance of strategic decision especially considering the industry environment and the cost of social capital.
