Virtual Currency refers to non-financial institutions issued, circulating between the issuer and the holder or between issuer and a few businessmen and the holders through the internet. It's able to buy goods reality, virtual property or electronic services which act as equivalent. There is a stable exchange rate to real currency, and it can be mutually convertible to real currency. The emergence of virtual currency is another revolution in the history of currency following precious metal and banknote. Virtual currency transaction costs effectively, and make fast payment is no longer subject to time and space constraints. At the same time, the emergence and development of virtual currency brought new problems and challenges to socio-economic and financial.With the development of the virtual economy, the background and the status quo and development trend of virtual money are analyzed, and existing form of virtual currency is summarized. Then the basic conditions of virtual money is analyzed in the theoretical, in order to reveal the nature of the existing virtual currency attribute, and focus on an analysis of the birth of the virtual currency influence on network economy and real economy. For the influence of virtual currencies on real financial, the money supply theoretical model contains virtual currency is constructed. With the development of financial technology, the intermediate goal of monetary policy is changed. The risk of money laundering by virtual currency is also studied, and regulatory approach is raised. Virtual currency brief tax program is raised against to the latest virtual currency taxation. In accordance with the requirements of Basel Accord, virtual currency monitoring system is constructed. And the future development of virtual currency is prospected.
