Rural Land Management is an important component of land management work. Land is the basic survival of farmers, and rural land problem is closely related to the farmers and rural issues. The growth in the size of the cities is nibbling at rural land at the present. Farmers'livelihood and rural stability have been affected. But a more direct impact is on the sustainability of land use. Although the current urban and rural land has been identified to carry out the unified management, this system is still imperfect. It is not suited to the current socio-economic development in the current transition period.This paper integrated movement and quietness, and discussed the hidden dangers of current rural land management system from New Institutional Economics. The property right is defective. The institution of rural land circulation market is deficient. And also the information system is lagging. The farmers'right of land relief is imperfect. All of these became opportunities which the law provides for corruption for the selfish officials. The increase in land value, and great temptation in benefits make the staff whose hands hold the power of land management, government departments and even local governments reap benefits from land despite the interests of farmers. Investigations revealed it is the first problem that a large number of farmers appeal to higher authorities in land. A great amount of senior officials "tumble" on the land. It is not enough to only study the hidden dangers from the enactment of the system. Good institution needs good implement to achieve the original intention. Rural land management system is faced with different kinds of predicaments in the current transition period, resulting rational institution could not be carried out effectively. It is oppositely like a toy ball which is thrown away by local government who wants to develop economic. But these behaviors are not be supervised, corruption becoming more brazen. Therefore, to perfect these measures of rural land management, and supervise the implementation effectually, we can curb the incidence of corruption. We also truly need ensure law, which can be run strictly. Any behavior broken the law can be called to account. Farmers'right and benefits can be protected. It is also to achieve efficient and sustainable use of land. This article used a land case in Kaiping Guangdong as an example. After introducing the case simply, it puts emphasis on the problems of current rural land management which reflected in this case.
