Market manipulation is a serious violation of the law in securities market. In this regard, all countries in the world enacted legislative prohibitions. "Securities Law of PRC" and related administrative rules and regulations also carry out legislative prohibitions of manipulation . But, unfortunately, there are still many problems. Such as: the definition of manipulation is not clear, the type of manipulation is not all-round, no clear and operable standards of identification, supervision of regulatory institution is not in place, the duty of is not clear, contradictions between the legislation and so on. Face the more and more crazy manipulation, there is an urgent need to improve legislation. In this paper, that is, at this writing from the background. However, in order to strive to do a thorough analysis, to avoid large and empty, but not the whole, this article does not attempt to resolve all of the above questions, and specialized research the definition of market manipulation, with the interpretation of the definition and types. Because, I believe that all the problems of market manipulation, the most central and most critical is the identification manipulation. If the legislation does not contain a clear , perfect and operable standards, an act can not be determined whether market manipulation, there would be no regulatory problem, but does not involve commitment to duty, there is on significance to talk the anti-manipulation system building. But the writings of both the government institution and scholars to discuss regulatory issues and legal responsibilities abound, however, the definition of manipulation is not the emphasis of them talking. This researching approach makes that the legislation ignored the provisions of that standard, it must result that the regulatory department is restricted in punishment of manipulation. In view of this, this article gives that our country should make legislation to prohibit market manipulation of the eight categories after comparing the theory with the practice, and in-depth talking about the defining standard of each type of manipulation, and make it be operable.
