A Study On The Off-Balance-Sheet Activities Innovation Under The Financial Deepening Background

This paper is intended to propose the innovation strategy of the OBSA in financial deepening. First, the financial deepening is divided into traditional and opening financial deepening, and then this paper explores the developing opportunity of the OBSA in static game model. Secondly, this paper makes an empirical analysis of the OBSA development based on the paned data of the 14 domestic commercial banks. Empirical results show that the financial deepening is positively related with the development of the OBSA, and has larger impact on stock holding commercial banks. Thirdly, this paper gives an introduction of the innovation of OBSA, examines the efficiency levels, and constraints of innovation. Finally, this paper suggests some countermeasures on how to develop the OBSA. This paper is aimed at expanding the perspective of OBSA research, providing a theoretical and practical guide to the OBSA innovation.The innovation of this paper lies in the following points: first, this paper explores the development of the OBSA based on the financial deepening, and sets up measurement target of the financial deepening. Secondly, this paper uses the static game theory to analyze the OBSA market, and establishes economy scope factor to examine the efficiency of the OBSA level. Third, this paper provides OBSA innovation strategies from the relevant theory.
