So far, with the development of era more and more products have characteristics as follows: the lifecycle of products becomes short continuously; once product has been produced, even if the physical form of itself don't change very much , product's value rapidly devaluate usually; product renovates and changes generation frequently, the depression of renovation not only comes from the development of series products of itself , but also comes from updating of products from rivals. We name all this kind products"short lifecycle product".This thesis mainly discuss the problem of price discount of short lifecycle product. Due to the attributes of short lifecycle product mentioned above, dealers have to reduce the price to sale products , so as they don't depreciate badly. Nevertheless, the price discount of product relates to many factors. The factors concretely fall into two aspects: choosing the time for discount and confirming the degree of discount. As to the first aspect, in this thesis firstly we identify some important factors which relates to the time when to conduct discount, then analyze the weight of these factors , after that we propose a scientific method of choosing time for discount for the mass dealers of short lifecycle products in our country. With regard to the second aspect, there are much expatiation in former literatures. Besides inducing all existing computing methods , in this thesis we mainly adopt the concept of income management so as to ensure confirming the degree of discount. more precisely and provide a feasible operating method of confirming the degree of discount for dealers.
