Feasibility Study Of Karamay Power Plant Extension Project

Karamay Power plant takes Karamay Electrical network as Main Power plant, not only guarantee reliability request of the Karamay Oil Field, moreover to guarantee the increases of Karamay electrical network every year. At present, not only the Karamay Power plant lacks the spare capacity, moreover the equipment is obsolete, especially in the load peak season.It is very difficult to guaranted that the reliable request of the oil field. In order to improve the reliability of Karamay Power plant power supply, guaranteed that the Karamay production and the resident daily life's need, the extension projection to the Karamay Power plant is to be imminent.In this paper, according to the reality of Karamay power plant in and using the method of practicing with theory, the feasibility of the project enterprise extension was analyzed in detail. After studying the relevant theories of easibility, the proposed project was analyzed from the scale of construction, site selection, organizational structure, human resources, and other aspects of profiles, and then combining the methods and procedures of feasibility study, using modern engineering, economics and management science theories, the project feasibility was analyzed from four aspects as the market forecasts, technology program design, the project's economic evaluation and project risk, the prespective of the development of Karamay power plant grid, and the project investment and the financial benefits were evaluated, at the same time, the risk factors of the project was analyzed, using sensitivity analysis method,the risk of the project was assessed, then the conclusions of the feasibility of Karamay power plant's expansion was deduced, and concerned implementation advice was proposed.
