Modeling And Empirical Studies On ERP Technology Adoption Based On UTAUT Theory

There are many problems that the China's information technology in the application drops behind the actual demand integrally in the information technology development. On the one hand, the investment in informationization is bigger and bigger for most enterprises due to the survival and development has been inseparable from the support of information systems, on the other hand, the investment in information technology doesn't make for the efficiency so that "productivity paradox" becomes widespread in the world, and people have doubted about the ability of information technology for a time. IT Adoption that how can the IT/IS be adopted by users with genuine acceptance, thus be absorbed and applied extensively and effectively has been a concernful subject in the filed of information systems. IT Adoption is a progress about the organization considering the factors about the organization and technology synthetically and dealing with the different information technology by analysis, selection, importing and use for its own business strategy. Based on ERP system for the study, this paper modeling the adoption behavior of ERP technology and does empirical research.In this paper, the enterprise information technology especially the implementation status and the existent problem of ERP were discussed, and the research status and the significance of IT Adoption were elaborated. This paper analyses and sums up the IT Adoption system info, and divides it into the adoption progress theory and the adoption behavior theory from another point of view. The adoption process theory can be divided into the ex-adoption theory and the step-adoption theory based on the time, And the adoption behavior theory can be divided into two different levels as organizational level and personal level based on the object. The paper cites its classic theory for each level of the theory and analyses the development and research status quo, particularly for the UTAUT theory used in this paper from the origin of the TAM model to the TAM2 theory and then to the UTAUT theory.Then, based on the UTAUT model, this paper analyses and sums up each influence factor in the process of adoption of the ERP technology, including personal factors (interference factor) and business-related factors (attitude of managers, ERP training, compatibility, etc.). Combined with related factors, based on the UTAUT model, this paper constructs the initial ERP technology adoption model, designs a survey questionnaire and gives the survey to the related enterprises in Tientsin City.Then again, with valid questionnaires this paper makes use of linear Structural Equation Modeling fitting analysis and causal link between the path analysis. According to the results of LISREL, this paper corrects the initial model, gets the most suitable model, and confirms related theory and demonstration.Finally, according to the analysis and interpretation to the results of the final model, this paper gives some related advices to the enterprise ERP system in order to improve the status quo that is the inefficient implementation of the ERP system.
